Delete Your Account

You can delete your Todito account and all associated data directly from the app. Follow the steps below.

How to Delete Your Account

1. Open the Todito app on your device
2. Go to Settings (gear icon in the top bar)
3. Tap Account
4. Tap Delete Account
5. Type DELETE to confirm
6. Your account and data will be permanently deleted

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

• Your account credentials (email and password)
• Display name and profile information
• Personal tasks, subtasks, and completion history
• Personal expenses and budgets
• Shopping lists and items
• Categories and preferences
• Notification settings

What Data Is Retained

The following data is kept after account deletion because it is shared with other group members:

• Group expenses you created (visible to other group members)
• Group shopping list contributions
• Settlement records within groups

This shared data is retained so that other group members' records remain accurate. Your name on these records will be anonymized.

Important Notes

• Account deletion is immediate and irreversible
• You can export your data before deleting your account from the same Account screen
• Any data stored only on your device (local tasks not synced) is not affected by account deletion
